ABOUT: Akvila is a duo formed in 2022 by the lyric singer Chantal Santon Jeffery and the guitarist/composer Balázs Tóth. Inspired by the infinite possibilities of the voice and the electric guitar, and the obvious affinities that bring these instruments together, they are keen to create unique soundscapes with multiple inspirations, mixing without prejudice the vast cultural and musical heritages of their respective countries, France and Hungary, as well as their own references, from baroque to rock via jazz and opera.
Since the beginning of their collaboration they have revisited French, English and Hungarian songs and adapted them to their own unique sound; They are also venturing into the field of composition, and propose to share with the public new and original musical, literary and sensory experiences.
